Blockwell Consulting, LLC (BWC) is a boutique firm focused on providing non-profits and other organizations with quantitative social science research and data services. Our founder, Dr. Megan Gall, opened BWC after working for more than 15 years in nonprofits dedicated to progressing civil rights in the United States. Collectively, BWC has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofits and capacity building. We bring our wealth of expertise and passion for social justice to every project.

Our Services: We analyze, visualize, and animate data. We use these skills to assess legal compliance of the Voting Rights Act, conduct redistricting, evaluate public policy, guide programmatic strategy, and assess programmatic work.

Our Expertise: We focus our services in voting rights and redistricting, justice reform and the criminal legal system, education equity, demographics, historic narratives, homelessness, LGBTQ+ rights, and other civil rights based public policy and legal analyses. Dr. Gall holds a PhD in political science, a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS), and maintains certification as a professional geographer (GISP). Collectively, our team has more than 20 years of experience helping people find the story in their data. We maintain expert knowledge of Census demographic data and other local, state, and federal administrative data sets.
