I hold a PhD in political science and a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS). As a certified professional geographer (GISP) & quantitative social scientist,  I analyze, visualize, and animate data. I use those data skills to evaluate policy, direct strategy, & evaluate programmatic work. My professional and research history includes voting rights and redistricting, demographics, criminal justice, historic narratives, homelessness, LGBTQ rights, and other civil rights based public policy and legal analyses. I have more than 10 years of experience helping people find the story in their data. I maintain expert knowledge of Census demographic data and other local, state, and federal data sets. In my free time, I make maps of real and imaginary places.
